Exciting New Chapter: AVTSE Joins Forces with AVTE!

AVTSE took a significant step forward by merging with the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators (AVTE) in April 2024. This partnership marks a new era for veterinary technician education, combining the strengths of both organizations to redefine and enhance the role of veterinary technician educators.

What This Means for You:

  • Elevated Credential: The Veterinary Technician Education Specialist (VTES) credential, now under the AVTE umbrella, will flourish and expand its reach, offering new opportunities for veterinary technician educators.

  • Collaborative Leadership: A dedicated governance group, in collaboration with the AVTE Board, will continue to guide the administration and growth of the VTES examination, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the veterinary education community.
